Last week we showed you a Corvette Z06 racing a Koenigsegg CCXR at the mile long Moscow Unlimited, with surprising results. We would hardly call this footage from the same event a race (we aren’t sure what happened to the BMW) but the results are certainly still surprising. Sure it’s a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and it’s no slouch from the factory, but any combination of SUV and low 11 second 1/4 mile remains pretty impressive in our book. More??

Ride along on the fastest FWD lap the Nürburgring has ever seen [Video]

Renault broke their own ‘Ring record this past week when they recorded a very impressive 8:07.79 around the Nordschleife. The time was good enough to make Renault’s new Megane RS Trophy the fastest production spec FWD car to ever lap the Nürburgring. While watching the record setting lap we had to keep reminding ourselves the car in question was only a 265 horsepower FWD Renault and not a vehicle significantly more powerful or significantly more RWD.
